Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy
(1809-1847)
Mendelssohn was born in 1809 in Hamburg. Mendelssohn grew up in a wealthy family, where his dad was a banker and his mother was a member of the Itzig family. Mendelssohn was the second child out of four, his older sister Fanny contributed a large role in his musical career. He began public performing at the age of 9 and composed his first symphony at the age of 15. Most of the time, he performs and composes music across Europe. His famous works include A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Italian Symphony, Scottish Symphony, String Octet, Songs Without Words, and Violin Concerto.

Tony Britten is a British composer
Britten graduated from the Royal College of Music. He spent the first few years of his career in theatre as a musical director, for Cameron Mackintosh as music supervisor on many shows. Then, he worked at the National Theatre as an arranger/musical director. He then moved into film and television as a conductor on productions such as Robocop. He also worked for director Clive Donner.
Britten is famously known for his UEFA Champions League Anthem, which UEFA commissioned Britten to arrange an anthem for the UEFA Champions League.
